Confirmation of Helical Travel of Light through Microwave Waveguide Analyses
نویسنده
چکیده
The essence of this theory is that photons are small particles of ponderable mass that travel in set helical trajectories. For any photon, the diameter of its helix may be calculated by dividing its wavelength by p (d = l/p). Further, a photon travels at a speed that is the square root of two times the speed of its helical wave, Ö2 ́ c. ___________________________________________________________________________

Modelling Dispersion Characteristics of Circular Optical Waveguide with Helical Winding– Comparison for Different Pitch Angles
In this Article dispersion characteristic of conventional optical waveguide with helical winding at core – cladding interface has been obtained. The model dispersion characteristics of optical waveguide with helical winding at core-cladding interface have been obtained for five different pitch angles. This paper includes dispersion characteristics of optical waveguide with helical winding, and ...
متن کاملWave Motion and Stop-Bands in Pipes with Helical Characteristics Using Wave Finite Element Analysis
Pipes are widely used in many industrial and mechanical applications and devices. Although there are many different constructions according to the specific application and device, these can show helical pattern, such as spiral pipes, wire-reinforced pipes/shells, spring-suspension, and so on. Theoretical modelling of wave propagation provides a prediction about the dynamic behavior, and it is f...
متن کامل112-GHz, 157-GHz, and 180-GHz InP HEMT Traveling-Wave Amplifiers - Microwave Theory and Techniques, IEEE Transactions on
We report traveling-wave amplifiers having 1–112 GHz bandwidth with 7 dB gain, and 1–157 GHz bandwidth with 5 dB gain. A third amplifier exhibited 5 dB gain and a 180GHz high-frequency cutoff. The amplifiers were fabricated in a 0.1m gate length InGaAs/InAlAs HEMT MIMIC technology. The use of gate-line capacitive-division, cascode gain cells and low-loss elevated coplanar waveguide lines have y...
متن کاملNumerical and experimental demonstration of a wavelength demultiplexer design by point-defect cavity coupled to a tapered photonic crystal waveguide.
We propose and experimentally demonstrate a demultiplexer with point-defect resonators and a reflection feedback mechanism in a photonic crystal waveguide (PCW). A tapered PCW has been chosen as the necessary reflector, which enhances the drop efficiency. Due to the variation of the single-mode waveguide width of the tapered PCW, spatial alteration of the effective refractive index can be achie...
متن کاملEnergy-gain measurements from a microwave inverse free-electron-laser accelerator.
Experiments are reported on inverse free-electron-laser acceleration, including for the first time observations of the energy change as a function of relative injection phase of the electron bunches. The microwave accelerating structure consists of a uniform circular waveguide with a helical wiggler and an axial magnetic field. Acceleration of the entire beam by 6% is seen for 6 MeV electron bu...
